I hope your week is off to a great start and that you had a super weekend! Keep reading to see how we will stretch and strengthen our brains this week.
Curriculum News:
Reading: In reading today, we started to become familiar with our new robust vocabulary. Tomorrow, we will continue our vocabulary practice as well as review reading, identifying, and analyzing literary devices. Wednesday through Friday, we will read, analyze, and discuss, our fantasy passage in cooperative groups.
Spelling: Your child received their spelling homework packet today. She/he is aware that the packet is due on Thursday and that our test is on Friday.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7th is Field Day in the morning. If your child needs to wear sunscreen, please have them apply it at home. Thank you!
Friday, May 10th is an early dismissal day. (1:30)
Please, if you are able to send in items for our 5th grade “Summer Fun” basket that will be raffled off at Martic’s Spring Fling, that would be greatly appreciated… Thank you!
