I hope that you and your family had a great weekend! This week we will be S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G and STRENGTHENING our brains a few different ways. Keep reading to find out how we will achieve this.
Curriculum News:
Reading: This week we are continuing to work with our new vocabulary. We will also read, analyze, and discuss our second anthology passage which is an autobiography. We will review the literary elements as well.
Spelling: Your child will be working on lesson 6, online, this week.
Math: We are working hard in the multiplication unit. We will be focusing on 3 digit by 2 digit multiplication this week and continue to review prime factorization and estimation. Keep up the great work mathematicians!
Parent Teacher Conferences
From Friday, October 23nd to Monday, November 2nd you will be able to sign up for parent-teacher conferences. Please use the Martic 5th Grade Google Classroom Stream, or your homeroom teacher’s blog, to access the link to sign up. Please only sign up for your child’s homeroom teacher.
You must have a Gmail account to register. You can use your own Gmail or your child’s Penn Manor login, if you use your child’s login, please save it for the date of the conference.
Conference Dates:
Monday, October 23rd – 1:45 PM – 7:45 PM
Tuesday, October 24th – 1:45 PM – 3:30 PM
