Week of Oct. 26th…

Hi, Martic 5th Grade Families,

I hope that you all enjoyed the weekend and were able to relax. Here are some things coming down the pike this week in 5th grade. As we complete them, we’ll be stretching our brains and making them stronger!

Curriculum News:

Reading:  This week in reading, we will begin to describe the key features of different text structures.  We will also begin to read, analyze, and identify different text structures from nonfiction pieces. Keep up the hard work and staying in a growth mindset 5th graders!

Spelling: Your child will be completing lesson 7, online, this week.

Math: This week we are working on multiplication word problems. These word problems can be very challenging, I am very proud of how these mathematicians are persevering in solving these problems. We will be finishing our multiplication unit in the first few weeks of November, stay tuned for the test date(s). Keep up the great work fifth graders!

Thank you for your support and have a wonderful week!

Mrs. Eby. 🙂
