I hope that you’re all having a good week! Here are some things that are going on in 5th grade.
Curriculum News:
Reading: This week, we have been reading, analyzing, discussing, and working through activities to build our prior knowledge on Martin Luther King Jr. Our readers and writers have been stretching their brains and making them stronger! Awesome work!
Spelling: Due to the three day week, your child does not have a spelling homework packet to complete or a spelling test.
Math: In math this week we have been hard at work in our 6th unit – multiplying and dividing decimals. This week we have been focusing on multiplying decimals by both powers of 10 and decimals. Keep up the great work!
Reminders:
School is not in session this Friday, January 22nd.
