Outstanding = O

Effort – Consistently comes to class prepared to learn. Carefully listens and follows directions. Consistently follows class rules.  Demonstrates a high level of cooperation, fair play and leadership.
(No Behavior Checks; No more than 1 Unprepared)

Skills – Masters skills, is able to perform them consistently in practice and integrate them into a game-like situation.

Good = G

Effort – Comes to class prepared to learn most of the time. Listens and follows directions most of the time. Follows class rules most of the time.  Demonstrates an appropriate level of cooperation and fair play.
(No more than 2 Behavior Checks; No more than 2 Unprepared)

Skills – Can perform skills most of the time during practice and in a game-like situation.

Satisfactory = S

Effort – Comes to class prepared to learn some of the time. Listens and follows directions some of the time with reminders from teacher.  Follows class rules some of the time with reminders from teacher.  Demonstrates an acceptable level of cooperation and fair play with assistance from the teacher.
(3 to 5 Behavior Checks; 3 or 4 Unprepared)

Skills – Can perform skills some of the time during practice and in a game-like situation with assistance from the teacher.

Needs Improvement = N

Effort – Frequently comes to class unprepared to learn. Needs constant reminders from the teacher to listen and follow directions.  Does not follow class rules.  Demonstrates an unacceptable level of cooperation and fair play.
(6 or more behavior checks; 5 or more Unprepared)

Skills – Frequently does not perform the skills during practice and in a game-like situation. Requires constant assistance from the teacher.
