This looks like it is going to be a perfect fall weekend. I hope you have planned something fun to do outside. My friends and I are headed out for a 1 day road trip to leaf peep. Our destination is the Kinzua Bridge State Park. It should be a lot of fun.
We had a very busy week even though it was only 4 days. Spider lessons were the most popular! The spider rings were a big hit and brought many smiles today. Can your child tell you one fact they learned about spiders? We also finished our work with numbers 1-5. A pretest will be given on Monday and a test will be given on Tuesday. Then we will start numbers 6-10. “Go” and “no” were added to the word wall.
You have probably heard by now that a member of our community has tested positive for COVID. If you would like more information about this please read the Hambright Blog. Anyone that was in close contact with this person has been contacted. The one thing I would ask you to do is to check your child’s mask. The mask needs to fit from on top of the nose to under the chin. Students are coming to school with masks that do not fit properly and are constantly falling down or do not cover their nose and mouth.
I have not given up on getting you logged into Seesaw. I meet with our Tech Department yesterday and I think we at the last step. My goal is to have a letter ready to go home on Monday. Once again thanks for your patience.
Morning class flyers for book orders will be sent home Monday. You can always order virtually. There is a much larger selection online.
These pictures are of the house we made to place “close” to where we live. It was the final activity in our family and neighborhood unit.
