O No, more snow!

There has been enough snow for one winter! I am ready for spring flowers, bike rides, walks and sitting on the porch. It does look like next week will be a little milder. In the 40’s and possibly even getting to 50 on Wednesday.

We have a few new students so I wanted to go over some programs that the Penn Manor Community and/or District sponsor to help our residents. First there is the Loft Partnership. This is a service where residents can go and drive trough to pick up food and other supplies. It is usually open on Wednesday nights (Not this week because of weather). The Loft also has a Facebook page.

The school district also offers Power Packs to eligible families. These packs are distributed at the Loft location on Thursday nights and provide food for the weekends. You do have to complete and application. More information about Power Packs can be found here.

The last program is new and was recently posted on the Hambright blog. This is also a meal program being offered through CHI St. Joseph’s Children Health. More information can be found here.

Please let me know if you need any other information.
