Spring Musical Auditions – MARY POPPINS

We are excited to produce MARY POPPINS for our 2018 Spring Musical, and to introduce our production team:

Director – John Matusek,  Asst Director – Melissa Mintzer,  Choral Director -Lauren Ciemiewicz, Pit Orchestra Director – Sara Masten, and Technical Director – Mark Dennis.

Anyone interested in an onstage role should plan to attend these audition dates:

Monday, Dec 4th – Dance Auditions.  Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes.  Learn a short routine.  No dance experience required – but a positive attitude and willingness to learn will be helpful!  Audition forms/packets will be distributed at this session for you to bring back (completed) at the open call audition sessions.

Tuesday, Dec 5  OR Wed, Dec 6 – Open Call Auditions.  You will choose a time slot by signing up on the backstage door (bottom of big staircase, across from bandroom) and be a part of a group of 6-8 students.   Lots of information is posted on Moodle, on the Penn Manor Theatre site.  (Under HS – Student Life – Penn Manor Theatre) – students can access this information.

You will need to be prepared to do the following:

-sing one of the selections provided  (there are 2 options for male/female)

-perform one of the monologues provided (there are many options on Moodle)

-be willing to read some scenes with the others in your time slot (read over the scenes ahead of time – directors will assign roles at the session)

Monday – December 11^th – 4:00 – 8:00 pm – DANCE CALLBACKS

If needed, we’d like to save this date for final dance casting decisions. Please try to keep this date open if needed. This session would be by invitation only.

Tuesday – December 12^th – 4:00 – 8:00 pm –
