Raffle Basket Donations – Martic Spring Fling
Martic’s Spring Fling is just around the corner…April 28th from 5-8 pm to be exact. We hope that you will join in the festivities by coming, supporting our school, and enjoying a fun night with your family!
We need your help to fill baskets for the raffles that will be given away. Kindergarten will be filling baskets with a “Family Movie Night” theme. Please consider sending in something to help fill our baskets. Ideas include but are not limited to, DVD/Blu-ray movies or movie tickets, popcorn, snacks, boxed candy, board games, card games, cozy blankets, etc. Please include a note with the items so we know what they are for! 🙂
Basket items are due by Friday, April 14th. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your help!
Book Exchange Tomorrow
As a reminder, tomorrow is Book Exchange. Please remember to send your child with his or her library book to school so it can be exchanged for a new one! Thank you!
Field Trip to MU
Today, your child brought home a field trip information sheet and permission slip. We will be going to Millersville University’s Winter Center to watch a production of Zooom. We will be spending the morning there and then returning to Martic for lunch and an afternoon of fun activities. Thank you to our wonderful PTO for providing the funding for our bus for this field trip!
ALL KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS will be coming to school ALL DAY! This means that he or she may ride the bus to school in the morning and home at the end of the day (or picked up at dismissal – a note must be pre-existing, sent to school, or filled out online). Please be sure to have your child’s pick-up sign visible to make the process as seamless as possible if picking up at the side doors at 3:25 dismissal. There will not be any “Y” transportation offered due to this change in schedule.
Your child does not need to bring his or her backpack to school but does need to bring a packed lunch if he or she is not getting one from the cafeteria. A disposable bag would be best so nothing needs to be returned. Please make sure your child’s name is on the disposable bag because we will have ALL kindergarten students in the classroom at one time.
If you would like to purchase a bagged lunch from the cafeteria, it includes…PB & J, String Cheese, Bagged Carrots, Chips, Fruit, and Capri Sun.

Wearing a jacket or outer layer of some sort would be highly recommended as well. This will ensure that your child will not be too cold during the performance and at recess.
* Permission forms are DUE by MONDAY, APRIL 3
* No backpack needed
* Buy or Pack a lunch in a disposable bag
* Wear a jacket or sweatshirt
* All kindergarten students attend school ALL DAY!
* We will be having FUN and making memories! 🙂
Thank you for your help! It’s going to be a great day!
