Welcome throwers and fans!

The Penn Manor shot put, discus, and javelin throwers have ranked among the top throwers in the league, district, and state.  It is time for some recognition!  So here is a page dedicated to those throwers who have committed their time and energy to the PM Varsity Track and Field team.

  3. I’m so glad you got to see the article. You guys really deserve SO much credit, and I thought that was the very least I could do.

I check the website basically daily 🙂 (well at least every meet day). It’s great, just like you! 🙂

    TO THE EDITORS:
Many areas in life are overlooked and taken for granted. I would like to bring one to attention. The Penn Manor throwing program has long been successful and has produced many athletes who have moved on to compete at a collegiate level.

Every year the Penn Manor throwing squad has an impact at the Lancaster-Lebanon League, District 3 and PIAA levels, and you will be able to see this year, is no different.

It isn’t easy to continually produce athletes of this caliber. This is largely due to the coaching staff. It’s a difficult task to find coaches who have the abilities to motivate, inspire and thoroughly coach an athlete to better themselves – on the field and off. Penn Manor is lucky enough to have done just that.

So I want to say thanks to Mr. Herman, Ms. Vita and Mr. Myers who tirelessly gave their time, support and encouragement which helped shape me into the person I am today.

  5. Ms. vita,

I looked at the honor roll yesterday only to be pleasantly surprised by what I found. Honestly, I expected this year to be a down year for penn manor throwers. But it seems as though this group of throwers is continuing the tradition of dominance the past few years of graduates have established. I’ve decided that one of the biggest contributing factors is you and mr. herman, and I want you to know that i think you two are doing a fantastic job like you always have. I realize though that it also takes a lot of hard work on the part of the athletes. I just was hoping that, even though i don’t really know a lot of these younger athletes, you would let them all know that im very proud of them and I hope they keep working to be as good as they can be, and even though they don’t realize it, they have joined a brotherhood and sisterhood that is penn manor throwing and they should wear those blue and gold colors proudly.

    Love
