Lead-Free Families Program

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health launched the Lead-Free Families Program in August 2021. This program will enhance student health by ensuring that all children are being tested for lead poisoning, ensuring that families have access to lead education, and they have an opportunity to address lead hazards found in their home for free, regardless if it is a rental or owner-occupied unit.

The Lead-Free Families Program is a comprehensive lead initiative that has been fully funded by Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health to abate lead in our most vulnerable communities.  Please click here for more information in English. Please click here for more information in Spanish.
