Shreiber Pediatric has new Volunteer opportunities available.  Stop in the counseling office and check out the volunteer folder for information.  They need help at the 30th Annual Softball Weekend, the Rubber Duckie Race, and at Camp Shreiber.


If you think you would like to apply to a highly selective school consider attending the University of Pennsylvania ( Penn) information night on Wednesday, May 9th at 6:30 at Manheim Township HS.


Seniors– If you are interested in a career in Heating and Air Conditioning, Carpentry, Plumbing, Sheet Metal or Electrical stop in the counseling office to pick up information on Apprenticeships available to you!  Don’t miss this chance to get paid while you get trained in a high demand career area.

Long’s Park Art Festival

Looking for volunteer hours this summer? The 34th Annual Long’s Park Arts and Craft Festival is in need of volunteers to help with this years festivities. The Arts festival takes place Thursday August 30th through Monday September 3rd (Labor Day). There are many positions and time slots available over the 4 day festival. To check out the potential volunteer positions and guidelines, stop by the counseling office today! Look for the “Long’s Park Art & Craft Festival” folder in the announcement filing cabinet!

Exploring military options

Interested in the military? You are invited to attend Exploring Military Options. You will hear presenters from each branch of the service and be able to speak to recruiters. The event is an opportunity for you and your parents to learn about training requirements, scholarships, and commitment requirements without having to visit a recruiting center.  All families in Lancaster County are invited to attend.  Exploring Military Options will be held at Hempfield High School Performing Arts Center on May 10th 7-8:30 pm. Younger students may want to attend to learn more about the Civil Air Patrol and Young Marines.
