Understanding College Series at York College of Pennsylvania

Students: Are you looking for some guidance on topics such as choosing a college major and financial aid? Parents: Are you looking for some clarification about what it’s like to have your student go off to college? If so, the Understanding College Series, held at York College of Pennsylvania, may be a great place to start. A financial literacy night will be held on Dec. 6 at 7pm, and will include financial information delivered by representatives from PHEAA and PNC Bank. Topics such as finding private scholarships, opening a checking account, and other financial-related topics a college freshman should know about will be addressed. Academic Possibilities Night will be held on Feb. 28 from 7-8:30pm, and undeclared students or students who don’t have a clear idea of what major they want to pursue yet are highly encouraged to register! Finally, a parent night will be offered March 14 from 7-8:30pm. All programs are free, and are open to any high school student and their family.
