Rock Lititz is a one of a kind production community that supports innovative creativity within the live event industry. With resources ranging from design, engineering and manufacturing through rehearsals, and beyond, Rock Lititz is a one-stop-shop to collaborate on any live experience. Students are invited to spend a day learning about the careers available in this industry.

Medical Careers Information Night at Reading Hospital

Reading Hospital invites students and families to attend a special Medical Explorers program at the Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences for an opportunity to tour the school and learn more about careers in healthcare.  The School prepares qualified students for exciting careers through seven programs:

·        Clinical Pastoral Education

·        Diagnostic Medical Sonography

·        Emergency Medical Services

·        Medical Imaging

·        Medical Laboratory Science

·        Nursing

·        Surgical Technology

College Fair– Juniors SHOULD Plan to Attend!


Who: All Juniors thinking about going to a two or four year school after HS should attend this Large College Fair which will be held at Millersville University. This is a great way to talk with college reps and ask questions about admissions.

When: March 14, 2019

Time: 8:45am-10:15am

  • meet in the cafeteria at 8:45am
  • get tips on attending a college fair
  • bus departs by 9 am
  • you will have one hour at the fair and be back to class by 10:15

Where: Millersville University

Why: This is a great opportunity to speak with approximately 100 college, university, and trade school representatives!

Cost: This is a FREE EVENT!

Health and Biomedical Sciences Summer Camp at Lebanon Valley College

Make the most of your summer! Consider attending a one week camp at Lebanon Valley College from June 23-28. You will be introduced to pharmacology, immunology, biochemistry and neuroscience and interact with practicing professionals in fields such as medicine, physical therapy, genetic counseling and much more! Reach New Heights-Girls Science and Engineering Field Trip

Girls in grades 9-12 are invited to join the Counseling Department to hear Paige Kassalen speak at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Paige is one of Forbes 30 under 30 top Women to Watch and she competed and won in the first solar- powered round the world flight!

The field trip will be on March 4, 2019 and you will only miss the morning classes. Take time to be motivated and inspired and learn about careers in Engineering, Science, and Technology that you may never heard of!

Reading Hospital’s Discover Nursing Summer Program 2019

Are you interested in healthcare careers and are looking for a summer activity? Be sure to check out the Reading Hospital School of Health Science’s Discover Nursing Summer Program, which will take place June 25-28, 2019. This program is designed to give prospective nursing students the opportunity to observe and work alongside nurses in areas such as maternity, pediatrics, or medical-surgical within Reading Hospital. To be considered, students must be entering their junior or senior school year as of the 2019/2020 school year, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. To apply, students must turn in an application and parental permission slip, two letters of recommendation from non-related adults, and an official transcript that includes academic accomplishments, current grades, and attendance. Stop down in the counseling office to pick up the application/permission slip and an informational brochure. March 29, 2019 is the deadline to apply.
