If you missed Financial Aid Night you can view this Financial Aid 101 resource. Learn about all the types of financial aid timelines, important dates and how you will apply for, receive and finalize your financial aid. Email your school counselor with questions and if you need additional help or materials.

FAFSA Completion Virtual Event 1/11/22

Seniors if you have not completed your Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA) this is an opportunity for you to get support now!

Please join PHEAA representative Sonya Mann-McFarlane on January 11, 2022. This event is offered to help you complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  Before the event you and a parent each need to create your account FSA ID at studentaid.gov.  Documents that you will need to complete your FAFSA are social security number, W-2 forms, federal income tax return from the past 2 years income tax returns, current bank statements, and stocks. 

Please download WebEx on your mobile device or computer prior to January 11th. You will receive a link from Sonya with your time slot to virtually complete your FAFSA with her support.

Deadline to register for this event is Friday, January 7th.

Education Day 11/5

Parents and students are invited to attend Penn Manor Education Day on November 5th 

Over 110 admission counselors will be in the East Gym from 10:50-1:10 representing two and four year colleges, technical, nursing and business schools, and military branches. 

This is a great opportunity to learn about entrance requirements, financial aid, campus life and academic programs.

Financial Aid Night 10/11

On Thursday October 11th students, parents and guardians are invited to the high school auditorium at 6:00 PM to learn how to apply for all types of financial aid, including completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is required to determine eligibility for most student aid programs.

Plan on attending this informative session sponsored by the PHEAA (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency) and the Counseling office.

Topics will include:

How to plan and pay for college and career schools

Resources available to students and parents

Scholarships

Upcoming Career and College related events

Instant Decision Event March 23 Millersville University

Seniors if you are still thinking about going to college its not too late to apply to Millersville University.   The counseling department is hosting an instant decision day on March 23.  This is a process that allows you to apply, interview and receive an admissions decision all in a single day.  There is no application fee! If you have any questions contact your counselor.  Follow the steps below:

FAFSA Completion Workshop

On Thursday, December 14th at 6:30 PM in the High School Library the local PHEAA (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency) representative will guide you through the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  Learn about the deadlines, grants, loans, and work study.  This is the first step in the financial aid process.  If you and your parent/guardian are interested in attending email marjean.long@pennmanor.net to reserve your seat.  Spots are limited.

Over 100 admission representatives will be here from two and four year colleges, technical, nursing and business schools in the East Gym. This is a great opportunity to speak to admission counselors and ask questions about the various programs. Learn about entrance requirements, financial aid, campus life and academic programs.
