HACC Health Careers Day

Are you interested in a health-related career after high school? HACC is holding a Health Careers Exploration Day on October 12th from 9am-1pm (lunch is provided). The location is East 203 on the Lancaster campus. This annual event is designed for high school students who are truly interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. You will learn about various health-related careers including: Cardio-Vascular Technology (both Sonography and Invasive), Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, Nursing (both LPN and RN), Radiologic Technology and Radiology Informatics, Surgical Technology, and Wellness and Health Promotion (for students interested in working as Health Educators or Wellness Coaches).

You will also have opportunities to speak directly with the program directors and participate in interactive demonstrations in HACC’s state-of-the-art labs! This has been a popular event in the past, so RSVP as soon as you can! Please RSVP to Marcia Waters by October 3rd. You can reach her at 717-358-2997 or mswaters@hacc.edu. You will need to coordinate your own transportation, as this will not be a field trip through PMHS. Please get an excuse from your parent/guardian if you plan to attend. This event can also be counted towards your shadowing day for graduation projects!
