  • Please note the following changes to HACC’s placement testing:
    • Math: Effective fall 2024, any new dual enrollment student must have a high school GPA of 3.0 at midpoint of their senior year and an Algebra II grade of B to be eligible for college-level math courses (MATH 100, 103, 104, 111, 113, 114 and 202). If students do not meet this criteria, they must take the math placement test to confirm course eligibility. Students must take the placement test for course eligibility for MATH 119 and 121. Please view placement test score requirements here.
    • English: Students with a high school GPA of 3.0 at the start of their junior year will be eligible for ENGL 101. Please note this is a change from the previous midpoint of junior year. Students meeting at least one of the English exemption criteria are eligible for ENGL 101.

3) Students will then be directed to complete HACC’s online New Student Orientation where they will learn how to register for classes online through their myhacc account. If you are a new dual enrollment and/or CHS student, please review this webpage on how to access New Student Orientation (NSO). NSO is a requirement that must be completed before you can register for classes.
