Sight & Sound Theatres “Shadow Day” for High School Students

Are you interested in the arts and live theatre? Have you ever wondered what the behind the scenes process looks like for a production? Sight & Sound Theatres will be hosting a “Shadow Day” for students in grades 9-12 to experience a “day-in-the-life” of their Show Operations teams on Friday, February 16th from 10 am – 3 pm.

This event will take place as they prepare for their 2024 premiere of DANIEL, creating an opportunity for students to observe many teams working together to create a show. Throughout the day, they will have people from different Show Operation departments speak to the group of students, provide information, and answer any questions they may have.

Students will need to apply individually and provide their own transportation. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The application can be found here and is also available in the Counseling Office. Students should email their completed application to Leilani Torres at
