The Physics and Astronomy Department at Bucknell University is holding the third annual PA Young Women in Physics Conference. The event will be a day-long conference on Saturday, April 7th for male and female high school students across the state who are interested in a physics education and career path. Through this event, we hope to provide Pennsylvania high schoolers with positive female role models in the field of physics in order to eliminate gender inequality in local scientific communities, and to educate students about cutting-edge research and encourage them to pursue physics.

The conference will include several short lectures given by physicists from institutions across the state and an audience-directed panel of the lecturers and graduate students. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
