February Mathletes

The Monthly Mathlete award is given to one career prep student, one college prep student, and one honors student every month. These students are nominated and chosen by the Math Department on the basis of their hard work and leadership in the math classroom. They will have their pictures posted in the Math Wing for the month and will each receive a coupon for a free MTO at Sheetz.

Danny Foltz is receiving this award because his effort in Honors Math Analysis this year was very commendable. His attention to detail and the amount of work shown did not go unnoticed. He finished the semester with the second highest grade in the class. He was helpful to other students and worked well in small groups. He always used his time wisely, asked great questions, and completed every assignment to the best of his ability. He always had a positive attitude and put his best foot forward. Keep up the excellent work, Danny!

Tara Wenger is receiving this award due to her effort in CP Algebra 1 this year. Her work was careful, meticulous, and thorough. She finished the semester with the highest grade in the class. She was willing to help other students and worked well in small groups. She always used her time wisely, asked great questions, and completed every assignment to the best of her ability. Way to go, Tara!

Shishir Neupane is receiving this award because of the hard work and diligence he put into his Intro to Algebra 1B class. His work ethic this semester has been outstanding. His attitude towards challenging problems and difficult tasks demonstrated the true definitions of grit and resilience. His exceptional efforts showed through in his assessments, helping him finish Intro Algebra A with the highest average in class for the second marking period. Congratulations Shishir!
