Lancaster Science Factory Volunteer Opportunity!

As a community-based non-profit science center we are on a mission to inspire the next generation of STEM students and they need YOUR help!

The Lancaster Science Factory is actively seeking volunteers to help guide guests on the exhibit floor, participate in camps and workshops, and even demonstrate science experiments, for visitors. This is an exciting place to meet people and teach the community about the joys of science, technology, engineering and math!

They offer flexible scheduling and training in a fun and supportive environment! This is the perfect place to get your service hours!

New form submission procedures:

Attention members:

We want to remind you that we encourage everyone to work on their community service hours throughout the summer.  Senior year tends to be a very busy year and the more hours you complete over the summer the less you will have to do during the busy school year.  We have made a few adjustments to the procedures for submitting pre-approvals and verification forms.  Please follow the procedures as outlined below:

Step 1: Submit a pre-approval form via the Google Form in our Google Classroom. This is time stamped and Mrs. Myers and I will review submissions periodically.  This must be completed before your event!
Step 2: Bring a verification form with you to your service activity and have it signed by the person supervising the activity.
Step 3: Submit your verification form via the Google Form in our Google Classroom.  This is time stamped and must be submitted within 30 days of completion of your service activity.

If you have any questions please reach out to Mrs. Myers and Mrs. Tejada.

Have a well deserved summer break!
