United Way Day of Caring is this Saturday!

Attention all current Penn Manor NHS members:  Saturday, September 10th we are participating in the United Way Day of Caring. We will be assisting the City of Lancaster with clean-up at the Duke Street Mall, which is a small park/green space right in front of King Elementary School at 460 S. Duke Street.

Weeding, trash pick-up, and beautification will be the main tasks for this project. The project time starts at 9:00 am and ends around 12:00 pm. Several current members have not yet completed the Google Form about participation, even if you are not available. Please go to our NHS Google Classroom to enter your response.

We encourage you to consider carpooling, bring a pair of gardening gloves, and please watch your email for any updates. Mrs. Tejada and Mrs. Myers will both be present for this event.

NOTE: This counts as a required event.

  • Create a username and password for yourself
  • Login
  • Click on your assigned shift and click the “sign up” button. Because you are under 18 years of age, you will need to complete a waiver and have it signed by a parent.
