Elementary Principals have made the decision to not use high school students as Math Bowl coaches this year. If you have been in contact with any of the school principals, please follow up with a courtesy email explaining that Penn Manor NHS was not aware of the change.
Mark your Calendar: We have moved the January 2nd NHS homeroom meeting to Thursday, January 16th, to accommodate end of the fall semester and Keystone Testing schedule.
The Pancake Breakfast and PM Wrestling Tournament is this Saturday, December 14th at the Penn Manor HS cafeteria and East Gym. Click Here to see your shift assignment. Make sure that you sign in and sign out with an adviser or officer, so that we have a record of your worked hours. If you did not sign up for a shift, email Mrs. Myers ASAP.
There is an upcoming BINGO event that requires student volunteers. The date is January 18th at Manor Middle School, with a snow date of January 25th. The shifts vary from morning- evening. The sign-up sheet is in the west gym IPC office for students willing to help out. Contact Ms. Forney at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions.
This year’s Post Prom committee is sponsoring a Designer Bag Bingo. About 5 students are needed. It’s Friday January 24, 2020 from 6 to 9 or 9:30 PM. You will run bags to the winners, walk around selling special games, and collect the trash (used bingo games) from the tables.
Contact Mrs. Marquette at email@example.com if you are interested in this volunteer opportunity. Look for an update about location of this event.
Seniors you can create an account on the National Honor Society (NHS) website. Our school affiliation number is 00005187. Once this step is completed, Mrs Myers will receive a notification prompting her to verify your account, which is required for it to be considered active. This will allow you seniors to apply for the NHS Scholarship. Note: A verified student account will be required to access the NHS Scholarship application this year! To create an account: Click Here

If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, contact Coreena Byrnes, who is the Children & Teen Services Manager for the Lancaster Public Library at 717-394-2651 ext.100
