On March 5th, students will be painting the first coat on small wooden signs that will mark the names of the vegetables we’ll be growing in our school gardens…Central Manor and Conestoga Elementary to name a few :). No artistic ability necessary for painting the colorful base coat. This is an outdoor event, so if it rains we’ll have to cancel.
Please use the Sign Up Genius, if interested.
Do you have nice handwriting? After the first coat dries, we’ll be writing the vegetable names in English and Spanish using paint pens. The paint won’t be dry by the end of our time together March 5 so we’ll have to do it another day. If anyone is interested, please email Mrs. Julian at email@example.com with March availability.
