Basket Bingo Volunteers Needed

This year’s Post Prom committee is sponsoring a Designer Bag Bingo. About 5 students are needed. It’s Friday January 24, 2020 from 6 to 9 or 9:30 PM. You will run bags to the winners, walk around selling special games, and collect the trash (used bingo games) from the tables.

Volunteers Needed to Help With STEM Day

PMHS will be hosting the STEM Summit for 9th graders on December 10th and 11th. Administration needs about 12 student volunteers each day. If you are interested in volunteering for 1 or 2 days, contact Mrs. Marsh in person, or via email at

She will meet with you to have you fill out a field trip form, so that your teachers know you are going to miss class.

NHS National Scholarships

Seniors you can create an account on the National Honor Society (NHS) website. Our school affiliation number is 00005187. Once this step is completed, Mrs Myers will receive a notification prompting her to verify your account, which is required for it to be considered active. This will allow you seniors to apply for the NHS Scholarship. Note: A verified student account will be required to access the NHS Scholarship application this year! To create an account: Click Here

Tutors Needed for Algebra 2, Honors Geo/Trig and AP Chemistry

If you are available during Tuesday and/or Wednesday homerooms, there is a student needing an Algebra 2 tutor. Contact Mrs. Myers if you are interested. Tutoring will be conducted in room 374.

A tutor is also needed for an Honors Geo Trig Student. Please contact Mrs. Long in Guidance if you are interested. Arrangements can be made for you to work in room 374 during homeroom.

Almost, Maine, Dinner and a Show

Volunteers helping with this year’s senior citizen Dinner & Show on Thursday, Nov. 21. 

DINNER begins at 4:15, but guests begin arriving at 3:30. 6-8 students are needed to greet, serve guests. (3:30-5:30 shift) : Madyson Hodges, Grace Bibus, Paul Karpouzis, Kimmy Miller, Delancy Reitnauer,Lily Nalevanko, Hannah Stork, Eleanor Helm

THE SHOW begins at 5:30 and ends at 7:30.  3-4 students are needed to help guests to/from seats and into cars after the show. (5:30-7:45 shift): Lauren Zink, Abby Stoner, Justine Fry, Jordan Schucker, Catherine McMahan

Day of Caring, Saturday, September 7th

All current Penn Manor NHS Members are expected to participate in the United Way Day of Caring, held on Saturday, September 7th. Due to the unavailability of Musser Park this year, We are asking students to sign up for individual volunteer events via the United Way Day of Caring link. We encourage you to work with friends to select an event together. They are unable to accommodate our entire group at one location. the link is:

Garden of Grace Volunteer Opportunity

The Garden of Grace supports families in our community. The garden is located at 163 West Frederick Street in Millersville. Hours can be counted towards next year.
