It’s been a great year in the kindergarten classroom. Thank you for supporting your child’s academic growth by helping with homework, reading stories, and going over sight words. Thank you for the classroom donations and for the parent volunteers who gave an extra helping hand to our kiddos.

Mrs. Noll, Mrs. Graver, Mrs. Neff, and myself would like to thank the students and their families for showering us with the wonderful end of year gifts.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with your children. It is my hope that they were able to embrace the love of learning that will follow them as they continue moving upward in the grades. It is hard to believe, but the end is here. Only two days left for our kinders! I thoroughly enjoyed my time in kindergarten and watching each child grow as they established a love for learning. I will miss their smiling faces, but I know they have conquered many milestones and are ready for any challenges the next year brings. May each student and their families have a fun, safe summer!

Monday, 6/3: (PM) Class Toy Day Reward-(PM) Students may bring a toy that fits in their backpack.
Monday, 6/3: PTO School Picnic 5:30-7:30 (Mrs. Glassmyer will have a turn in the dunk tank!)
Tuesday, 6/4: Last Day of Kindergarten (regular school hours)
Wednesday, 6/5: Last Day Grades 1-6 (11:30 dismissal/no breakfast or lunch)

What we are learning…

Our last two days will be packed with fun activities following the theme of the day and reviewing various skills learned throughout the kindergarten year. Our last story time with Calvin and Hobbes will allow the students to say goodbye until we return in the fall. Students will have an opportunity to meet the first grade teachers with a special move up event held during the school day. Be on the look out for some fun things we worked on throughout the year coming home with your child.
