Thank you once again for the wonderful
donations for our bunny baskets. They were a huge success and the class had so
much fun! The baskets may be coming home fairly empty today but they were
loaded with so many wonderful surprises from our generous families!
Field trip papers may be returned
anytime next week. We are looking forward to our Science Factory and Musser
Park trip on May 21st. We will contact you in the near future if you
have been randomly chosen as a chaperone.
will also be writing thank you cards to the PTO for paying for the trip.

This week we will be taking our math
test on clock concepts. We will continue to work on clocks until the end of the
year. We will now be moving into a measurement unit in math.

A big thank you to Mrs. Holt for
teaching our five Junior Achievement lessons in Social Studies. We gained a
rich vocabulary from all of the economics words she was teaching us!

test on Tuesday and will then be moving into clock concepts in math.
Second graders are thrilled to be
starting cursive writing. We are using phonics skills to create words as we
eagerly learn all of the letters. Our goal is to have all lower and upper case
letters taught and practiced by the end of the year.

CURL UP WITH A GOOD BOOK/PAJAMA DAY
week we will begin Junior Achievement lessons with Mrs. Holt on many economic
concepts in Social Studies. She will be teaching five hour long lessons on
Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We will also be visiting a Health Fair
in our cafeteria that is coming to us from Millersville University. This will take place on Tuesday afternoon.
