What are RATS? RATS (or Random Acts of Thought) are 5 minute presentations about subjects self-selected by students. After each presentation, the class (and a very interested teacher) ask questions to better understand any given subject. Usually completed on Google Docs, the presentations vary between informal to structured and can include other presentation aids, such as charts, books, objects, music, and even human beings. This is designed as a way to build presentation skills, critical thinking skills, as well as a fun way to personalize the education process. Did I mention you are paid Schettler’s Stars for presentations?
