Dear Families,
I am a big believer in encouraging reading to students in many ways.  One way I do this is by doing monthly book orders in my classroom.  Ordering books from the book clubs is not mandatory but it is an economical way to build up your library at home.  Each dollar you spend will also help in giving points to order books for our classroom library.

To order online is very fast, easy, and secure!  You will need to go to the website www.scholastic.com/bookclubs to register.  You will need to use the one time class activation code to order the first time (TQC4K).

If you are not able to order online, please send a check made out to Scholastic (not to me) with the order form to school.  When you send the order into school, make sure the order form and check are placed into an envelope with your child’s name on it.  Please no cash, thank you.

The deadline for ordering books will be written on the book order information sheet every month.  Please understand that I will stick to the deadline.  If you would like to order books as surprise gifts for your child, please enclose a note with your order form telling me which books to hold.  I would be happy to hold them for you until you can pick them up from school or send them home in a plastic bag.
