About Me

Hello Students and Families,

I am Mr. Sellers and beyond excited to be part of Penn Manor.  When I started pursuing my teaching profession I was fortunate to have been able to student teach at Pequea Elementary.  Now, as I start my 15th year of teaching I do so in the district where I learned so many of the skills that helped make me the educator I am today.

Upon earning my teaching degree from Millersville University I obtained a teaching position in Dauphin County.  I spent 12 years in the same district teaching fourth and fifth grade.  I have always enjoyed challenging and enriching my students and to help them reach places they didn’t think they could go.  As a member of the gifted support team I look forward to continuing this practice.

Prior to becoming a teacher I spent 12 years in the Finance Industry.  Locally I worked at M & T bank (formerly known as Dauphin Deposit Bank and Trust Co.).  I then moved to New York City and worked at Moodys Investors Service as a Director of Finance.  This is where I was working when I decided to make a career change and become a teacher.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in finance from Pennsylvania State University.  After that I went to York College and earned a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in finance.  Later I attended Millersville University where I obtained my teaching degree and earned a Masters in Education.

I look forward to working with you to help make your child have a fun and educational year.  I believe education is a team effort and we both want the same thing:  For your child to obtain the best educational experience possible!
