One reading group read two books about bears. One was “The Big Bears” while the other book is “What Bear Cubs Like To Do.” Following our readings and activities, the group made “blabbers” of their own bears. Check it out!

Tuesday, March 2 is Dr. Seuss’ birthday. He would be 106 years old today! To help celebrate “Read Across America Day” today we read some Dr. Seuss books, completed some Dr. Seuss activities, and had an extra-special SKYPE reading. Our class read Green Eggs and Ham to a first grade class in Michigan! The first graders in Mrs. Dulmage’s class read us The Foot Book. It was a neat experience to take a virtual field-trip to a classroom over 500 miles away. We checked mapquest….it would take over 9 hours to drive there from here! All first graders did a wonderful job and enjoyed using technology as always! 🙂
