Tearful Good-byes and Joyous Hellos

This week was a difficult one. The first grade class of 2010-2011 was a very special class. My tenth class of my “career,” this group of kids will surely not be forgotten at all. Please keep in touch with Miss Szentesy over the summer. I will miss you so much!

Please give a warm welcome to the first grade class of 2011-2012! I am excited to get to know you! See you in August!

Mr. Stokes, a Martic alum, donated 10 Mimio Pads to our school. We were very fortunate to spend some time with him in our classroom. The entire class showed Jake, Mr. Reisinger, and a newspaper reporter what it’s like to use the Mimio software and mimio Pad in our school. The adults were all amazed at how proficient the students are with the technology, and at their motivation to learn! Click on this link to read the great article in the Lancaster newspaper this week!
