New Year, New ‘Do

Today I had a life-changing experience.  After growing my hair for 12 months, I cut 10 inches of it off today.  My hair will be sent to Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths program.  My natural hair will be made into real-hair wigs for patients battling cancer.  Here are a few pictures my mom (Mrs. Szentesy) took to document the day.  (p.s. My hairdresser is Jami, she went to Martic Elementary School!!!!).  For more information on the program, click here.

Oh Christmas Tree!!

First graders in 1-S worked hard on a writing about our Christmas trees.  Using a short guideline, they answered some questions and shared their family traditions.  Each student’s tree is an individual posting below.  Please look through each one and feel free to make comments on their trees!  You can do this by clicking on the words “Leave a comment” which are found below the picture.
Thank you and enjoy!
