Today Kristin, Hunter, and Morgan read books to Mrs. Pollock.  She didn’t even answer the phone when it rang!  Mrs. Pollock loves her first grade readers and takes NO interruptions!!!  Thanks so much!!

Students in 1-S were rewarded for earning 25 baseballs.  They voted on some rewards and chose “lollipops.”  Here are some pictures of the students’ happy smiles.  There is even a special visitor in one picture!
      

Here are pictures of Fallon, Morgan, and TJ reading books to Mrs. Pollock this week.  They are all reading very well, loudly, clearly, with expression….fluently!!!

Spring Fling

Today the first graders celebrated completion of our “How-To” unit.  Students in 1-S read “How-to” books to students in 1-A.  We enjoyed hearing each others’ books and learned to do some interesting new things!
