Hello!  Welcome to our class blog.  I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.  This is my 22nd year as an elementary teacher.  I have taught students in grades 1-5, but second graders are definitely my favorite! 

Outside of school, for fun I love to ski with my family and friends.  I have recently developed a love for running.  One of my favorite places in the world is St. Pete Beach, Florida, where I spend my summer vacations with my family.  I love any beach.  If it’s a rainy day, I like to challenge myself by putting together puzzles (with 1,000 or more pieces).  I have played piano since I was seven years old and my favorite color is purple.  The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Notre Dame Fightin’ Irish are my favorite football teams, and the San Antonio Spurs and the Indiana Hoosiers are my favorite basketball teams.  I love to watch just about any sport though!
