Every year Penn Manor School District assists families in need with Thanksgiving meals. We would like to make this process more uniform across the district. We will be collecting the food listed below between November 4th and Friday, November 15th. If you have a child in one of these grades, please consider donating to help our community.
Kindergarten-boxed mashed potatoes
1st grade-boxed stuffing
2nd grade-canned corn
3rd grade-canned green beans
4th grade-canned sweet potatoes
5th grade-canned cranberry sauce
6th grade-canned gravy (NO GLASS) If your family is able and willing to provide more than is listed above and would like to make a monetary donation, please send the amount you choose by check to your child’s school secretary by November 15th. Make your check payable to Penn Manor Family Fund and on the memo line write “Holiday Food Basket”.
Hambright Family Fun Movie Night–DATE CHANGE The Hambright Family Fun Movie Night is being moved to Friday, November 15th due to a conflict with homecoming for the original date. Hambright students and their immediate family members (i.e. parents and siblings only) are welcome. Again, the movie night will now be held on November 15th. Doors will open at 6:30. The movie will begin at 7:00 pm. Entrance is FREE! There will be more details about the evening coming home in November.
These students were working so hard today at their first grade math stations. We are learning all about subtraction this week. They rotated through teacher table activity, computer station, a candy corn subtraction math game, and their math journal review activities. Check out some awesome hard working first graders!
Today the students were able to decorate our room with some fall tree pictures. They used tissue paper for the leaves. We have been learning about the seasons in earth science too so this was a great way to end the week!
