Classroom Tadpoles

2T has classroom tadpoles!  They have hatched from their eggs and have been moved to a larger holding tank.  Currently, we are using the opportunity to learn about life-cycles, habitats, and animal classification.  We have determined that we do not have newt or toad tadpoles, but do indeed have frogs!

We will find homes in the local community to release our frogs safely at the end of the year.

I am pleased to inform you that your child will be using, a new, interactive math practice site. Students will be able to use this website to review math skills that we’ve learned about in class. Your child may access the site from any tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.

When your child logs into the website, he or she may see assigned lessons from the teacher. If there are no assigned lessons, students can explore the site to find specific math topics we’ve been learning about.
When your child completes a lesson on this site, the score will be sent to the teacher.

Parents are encouraged to log in too! You will be able to review the site’s features and view detailed reports on your child’s progress. Simply log in with your child’s username and password.
