
Spelling Lesson 5: Review Week of Lessons 1-4

We have been studying seed plants and seedless plants in class, and relating it plant life cycles!
Last week we finished our science lab on vascular plants. We wanted to answer the question, “What allows some plants to grow tall and still have support and obtain nutrients and water?”

Coming home today is a field trip from to visit the PA Farm Show in Harrisburg, where we will participate in some awesome activities, on Friday, October 4th.
The forms (the bottom of page 1 and all of page 2) should be returned by Monday, September 23rd. It incorrectly states on the second form that they should be returned by September 18th. Disregard that date, as form approval was delayed and not sent home earlier. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Good Afternoon Everyone! As a class we are studying plants and their seeds. If your child finds any type of native species seeds around your town, our class would love to have them. Our class is looking for seeds, cones, and spores. Examples include acorns, sunflower seeds, pine cones, maple seeds, and fern spores. Please try to send seeds to class in a ziploc bag. We will be collecting seeds all week! Have a great night.
