Week of October 17th…

Hello, Everyone!

I hope that this post finds all of you and yours doing well! It is very hard to believe that we are halfway through October already! Read on to find out how we have been stretching our brains and making them STRONGER!

Curriculum News:

Reading with Mrs. Eby: 5th-grade readers and writers have been putting forth 150% effort to stay in a growth mindset!  They have been reading, analyzing, and identifying the elements of a fictional text, as well as supporting their answers with textual evidence.  Way to go and show the text who is the BOSS!

Spelling: Your child received his/her spelling/Unit 5 homework packet yesterday. She/He knows that the completed packet is due Thursday and our test is on Friday.

Math with Miss Miller: I am so proud of every mathematician! They are putting their best effort forward in unit 3. We will be spending the beginning of this week reviewing everything we learned in unit 3, then on Thursday 10/20, we will take our unit 3 test. On Wednesday, your child will bring home a study guide to be completed as an extra review. Keep working hard fifth graders!!

Have a wonderful rest of your week and thank you for your support!

Mrs. Eby 🙂
