Week of November 30th……

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back….. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving of making memories with your family and friends!

Reading:  Today, we read the book, Thank You Sarah, and began working on a group text dependent analysis prompt graphic organizer based on it.  Throughout the week, we will continue to revisit the text in order to complete the graphic organizer. Once it is finished, we will will then transfer the information into essay form.  Keep up the hard work everyone!!!

Math: This week in math we will start off by reviewing everything we were learning about before break with multiplying decimals. There will be a quiz on Wednesday to see what we have learned so far in unit 6. On Thursday and Friday we will begin dividing decimals, starting with estimation and then learning some strategies on how to divide a decimal by a whole number. Please keep practicing that homework daily, and I will continue to check it each day to make sure we are all understanding what we are learning in class.

Spelling:  Your child was given her/his spelling homework packet today.  Since it is Tuesday, the packet is due Friday instead of Thursday.  Our test will be on Friday also.

Thank you for your support, and have a great week!

Mrs. Eby 🙂
