Curriculum News:
Reading: We began lesson eight today. Our focus skill is to understand that sequence is one text structure authors use to organize text. Also, to use clues to identify the sequence of events in a written selection. Our reading selection for this lesson is a narrative nonfiction piece about George Washington crossing the Delaware River.
Math: We started Chapter 5 this week. Our first lesson, on Monday was rounding with decimals. The rest of this week we will be using our rounding skills to estimate sums and differences.
