The PMHS Counselors are committed to fostering a safe and supportive school environment for all students and are able to assist students and families with finding resources to address social and emotional needs.

Please visit the sites below for important information on risks and warning signs of suicide, how we can all work together to provide a supportive environment for students in need, and resources available for students and families.

https://www.preventsuicidepa.org/-The Pennsylvania Adult/Older Adult Suicide Prevention Coalition (PAOASPC) and the Pennsylvania Youth Suicide Prevention Initiative (PAYSPI) have merged to form a new organization called Prevent Suicide PA. Prevent Suicide PA will address suicide prevention across the life span.

suicidology.org or http://www.suicidology.org/ncpys – AAS is a membership organization for all those involved in suicide prevention and intervention, or touched by suicide.

afsp.org— The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention site is devoted to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education, and advocacy
