Keeping Your Kids Safe: Child Sexual Abuse Prevention 101 Free Zoom Workshop

One of Safe Communities’ most popular and well-received workshops is our Child Sexual Abuse Prevention 101. In June and July, we will present a two-part free workshop into two, one-hour presentations with time for questions. Join this 2-part workshop series to explore topics such as grooming, hugs, secrets, teaching your kids how to keep themselves safe, how to talk to your kids about private parts, play dates, sleepovers, and signs & symptoms of child sexual abuse. So many parents are looking for answers. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the news, social media, and family/work life balance. It’s hard to know how to have important but difficult conversations with your kids. These conversations could change your child’s life. After these workshops you will have confidence, tools, and the ability to thrive in those important conversations with your kids. These workshops will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, June 30th (Part One) from 6:30PM-7:45PM and on Tuesday, July 25th (Part Two) at 6:30PM-7:45PM. Only one registration is needed to be confirmed for both workshops. A limited time recording link will be sent to those registered after the workshop for those who cannot attend live. Facilitator: Mark Harris, Assistant Director **This Free workshop was generously sponsored by the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office**
