Long’s Park Art Festival

Looking for volunteer hours this summer? The 34th Annual Long’s Park Arts and Craft Festival is in need of volunteers to help with this years festivities. The Arts festival takes place Thursday August 30th through Monday September 3rd (Labor Day). There are many positions and time slots available over the 4 day festival. To check out the potential volunteer positions and guidelines, stop by the counseling office today! Look for the “Long’s Park Art & Craft Festival” folder in the announcement filing cabinet!

Exploring military options

Interested in the military? You are invited to attend Exploring Military Options. You will hear presenters from each branch of the service and be able to speak to recruiters. The event is an opportunity for you and your parents to learn about training requirements, scholarships, and commitment requirements without having to visit a recruiting center.  All families in Lancaster County are invited to attend.  Exploring Military Options will be held at Hempfield High School Performing Arts Center on May 10th 7-8:30 pm. Younger students may want to attend to learn more about the Civil Air Patrol and Young Marines.
