2023 Road to Safety Scholarship Contest

Each year, many young lives are drastically changed or cut short by risky behaviors like driving under the influence of alcohol or texting while driving. Motor vehicle crashes involving teenagers are especially heartbreaking, because most of these teen tragedies are fully preventable. Metzger Wickersham law firm is now accepting entries for the tenth annual 2023 Road to Safety Scholarship Contest, which encourages young drivers to get involved in spreading the message to keep our roads safe.

Pennsylvania college-bound high school seniors may submit a creative project about the dangers of drunk driving or distracted driving for their chance to win college scholarship money. First, second and third place winners will be selected by our panel of judges and will receive $1,000$750 and $500 scholarships, respectively.

Is the healthcare field of interest to you, or do you intend to enter the healthcare field after high school?

The Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, located right here in Lancaster is the area’s only college dedicated solely to health sciences, offering over two dozen academic programs to 1,800+ students. The PA College of Health Sciences has a lot to offer, from certificates to doctoral degrees, innovative simulation labs, hands-on learning, and incredible financial aid packages.

If you want to learn more about the PA College of Health Sciences and the opportunities they have to offer, the admissions team from the PA College of Health Sciences will be presenting here at Penn Manor on Friday, March 3rd during Friday Flex. This presentation will be followed by an on-campus tour for those who want to learn more about the college.
