Spring SAT Info for Current Juniors

Each spring the School Counseling Department recommends that Junior’s take the SAT and ACT if students are considering attending a two or four year college or university after high school.  If students are still undecided, that is absolutely fine, it’s recommended that students take the tests to help in their decision making process.

This spring, Penn Manor is offering four different opportunities to take the SAT.  We will offer two Saturday SAT tests on March 11th or June 3rd.  In order to register for these tests you will go onto the College Board website, register and pay through the website to secure your seat.

In addition, we are offering a new pilot program, two opportunities to take the SAT during a school day on March 22nd or April 25th.  For each of these test dates there will be a limited number of seats and students will be able to sign up by submitting payment directly to the School Counseling office.  The opportunity to register will be coming soon!

For any of these opportunities, if you qualify for free or reduced lunch, students are eligible to take the SAT for free with a fee waiver.  If you have any questions, please reach out to the school counselor assigned to your student. https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat

  1. Students need to create an account and log into https://studentscores.collegeboard.org/
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions for looking at your detailed report and accessing practice for the SAT’s.
  3. If you are having trouble finding the information you need once you log-into college board, check out these videos and instructions provided by the college board on their website. Guide to your PSAT Report “How To” Videos
  4. Juniors should register to take the SAT’s with the same college board log in used to access PSAT results. Some sophomore might also want to take the SAT’s this year if interested in college dual enrollment classes in the future, depending on their personal goals.
